Fire in the open – Eltisley - South Cambs

At 10.03am on Wednesday (8) one crew from Cambridge and one crew from St Neots were called to a fire on Caxton End in Eltisley.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving around one acre of crops and a combine harvester. The fire was extinguished using hose reels. Crews returned to their station at 11.44am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
