Car fire – Wansford - Peterborough

At 7.15pm on Tuesday (18) one crew from Dogsthorpe and one crew from Whittlesey were called to a fire on the A47 near Wansford.

Firefighters arrived to find a car well alight. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 8.35pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
