Fire in the open – city centre - Peterborough

On Sunday (18) at 11.23am, one crew from Stanground and the north roaming fire engine were called to a fire in the open on Hawksbill Way, Peterborough.

Crews arrived to find rubbish alight next to a house and affecting a nearby fence. Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, before returning to their station by 12pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
