At 7.20pm on Thursday (22) one crew from Manea and one crew from Chatteris were called to a road traffic collision on the B1098 near Stonea.
Firefighters arrived to find a van had collided with a bridge. Using specialist cutting equipment they released one male casualty who was left in the care of ambulance crews.
The crews returned to their stations by 8.45pm.
