House fire - Castle Ward - Cambridge

On Friday (4) at 5.57pm, two crews from Cambridge were called to a house fire on Huntingdon Road, Cambridge.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire, followed by a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.

All persons were accounted for. One cat was rescued from the property.

Both crews returned to their station by 7.30pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
