Road traffic collision - A16 - Peterborough

On Wednesday (23) at 5.28pm, one crew from Dogsthorpe, one crew from Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade, one crew from Stanground and the north roaming fire engine were called to a road traffic collision on the A16 near Newborough.

Crews arrived to find a collision involving three vehicles. Firefighters used specialist equipment to release three casualties.

One casualty sadly died at the scene.

All crews returned to their stations by 8.15pm.
