Fire in the open – Helpston - Peterborough

On Tuesday (16) at 4.14pm one crew from Ramsey and one crew from Dogsthorpe were called to a fire in the open on Maxey Road, Helpston.

Crews arrived to find a fire involving 20 hay bales and farming machinery. Firefighters used two hose reels, one jet and small gear to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 9pm.
