Tractor fire – Linton - South Cambs

On Monday (5) at 6.01pm one crew from Linton and one crew from Newmarket, Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service were called to a tractor fire on B1052 near Linton.

Crews arrived to find a fire involving a large bailer on the highway. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used two hose reels to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 8.30pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
