Fire in the open – Chettisham - East Cambs

On Wednesday (18) at 6.51pm one crew from Littleport and one crew from Ely were called to a fire on Lynn Road, Chettisham.

Crews arrived to find two seats of fire both measuring 10 x 10 metres in the woods. Firefighters used one hose reel and one peat branch to extinguish the fires before returning to their station by 10.55pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental
