Barn fire – A10 - South Cambs

On Sunday (12) at 9.21am seven crews were called to a barn fire on A10 near Waterbeach. Crews from Cambridge, the south roaming fire engine, Cottenham, Ely, Papworth and St Neots were called to the incident.
Crews arrived to find a barn measuring 15 x 20 metres well alight. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used three jets and two hose reels to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 5.30pm.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
The incident was reinspected in the evening.
