House fire – Newton - South Cambs

On Monday (17) at 5.38pm a two crews from Cambridge and one crew from Sawston were called to a house fire on Whittlesford Road, Newton.

Crews arrived to find a fire in a bedroom on the first floor of a house. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used one hose reel and a jet to extinguish the fire

before returning to their stations by 7.45pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
