House fire – Teversham - South Cambs

At 10.51am on Friday (27) crews were called to a fire on Borley Way in Teversham.

More than 20 firefighters attended the incident, including crews from Cambridge, Burwell, Cottenham and the south roaming fire engine.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a house that was spreading to the first floor. Wearing breathing apparatus the extinguished the fire using hose reels and a jet before returning to their stations by 2.30pm.

The property was evacuated when crews arrived at the incident.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
