Fire in the open - Castle ward - Cambridge

On Monday (27) at 7.38pm, one crew from Cambridge was called to a fire in the open on Huntingdon Road, Castle ward.

Firefighters arrived to find a hedgerow on fire. Using a hose reel and small gear, firefighters extinguished the fire, before returning to their station by 8.50pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
