Fire in the open - Upwood - Huntingdonshire

On Tuesday (28) at 7.36pm, one crew from Ramsey was called to a fire in the open at the former RAF Upwood site.

The crew arrived to find a fire on the ground floor of a derelict building. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, before returning to their station by 9.20pm.

The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police by visiting to submit an online report or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
