Stack fire - Chatteris - Huntingdonshire

On Monday (15) at 5.17pm, one crew from Chatteris and one crew from Ramsey were called to a stack fire on Doddington Road, Chatteris.

Firefighters arrived to find approximately 300 bales of straw well alight. Firefighters used hose reels and drags to break up the stack and get the fire under control.

Crews returned to their stations by 9.30pm before reinspecting the incident overnight.
