Bungalow fire – Wisbech - Fenland

At 8.45am on Saturday (27) a crew from Wisbech, along with crews from West Walton and King Lynn in Norfolk, were called to a fire on Holmes Drive in Wisbech.

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving a semi detached bungalow, which was spreading to an adjacent property. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and a jet before returning to their stations by midday.

The property was safely evacuated before crews arrived.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
