Fire in the open – Chatteris - Fenland

At 3.45pm on Monday (29) crews from Chatteris and March, along with a water carrier from Ramsey, were called to a fire on Fenland Way in Chatteris.

Firefighters arrived to find a large fire involving rubbish and cylinders that was spreading to nearby cars. They extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 8pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
