Fire in the open – Glinton - Peterborough

At 1.56pm on Friday (3) a crew from Dogsthorpe was called to a fire on Holmes Road in Glinton.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the open involving a hedgerow that was spreading to crops. They extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their station by 3.15pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
