Fire in the open - Dogsthorpe - Peterborough

On Monday (27) at 3.29am, one crew from Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade, one crew from Stanground and one crew from Yaxley were called to a fire in the open on Wesleyan Road, Dogsthorpe.

Crews arrived to find three large seats of fire at an allotment, which involved fencing backing onto houses and a number of sheds.

Firefighters used four hose reels to extinguish the fire, before returning to their stations by 5.30am.
