Fire in the open - Rampton - South Cambs

On Tuesday (28) at 3.18pm, one crew from Cottenham was called to a fire in the open on Cuckoo Lane, Rampton.

Crews arrived to find around 40 metres of riverbank well alight.

Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, before returning to their stations by 4.10pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
