Chimney fire - Coleridge ward - Cambridge

On Sunday (22) at 5.09pm, two crews and the multi-star aerial appliance from Cambridge were called to a chimney fire on Radegund Road, Cambridge.

Firefighters used specialist equipment to extinguish the fire, before returning to their station by 6.15pm.

A fire service spokesperson said: “Please ensure that you get your chimney swept and brick work inspected at least once a year, this will help to prevent a chimney fire.”
