Building fire – Littleport - East Cambs

At 5.30am on Thursday (24) crews were called to a fire on Little Marefen Drove in Littleport.

Crews from Ely, Littleport, Manea and a water carrier from Newmarket in Suffolk attended the incident.

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving three outbuildings. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 11.20am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
