Car fire – city centre - Peterborough

At 3.03am on Saturday (26) a crew from the Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade was called to a fire on Cobden Avenue in Peterborough city centre.

Firefighters arrived to find a car on fire. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their station by 3.50am.

The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police by visiting to submit an online report or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
