Car fire – A47 - Peterborough

At 12.25pm on Monday (11) crews from Dogsthorpe and Whittlesey were called to a fire on the A47 in Peterborough.

Firefighters arrived to find a car on fire on the Soke Parkway eastbound carriageway. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 2pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
