Building fire - Sawston - South Cambs

On Monday (15) at 3.10pm, two crews from Cambridge were called to a fire at a building site on Babraham Road, Sawston.

Crews arrived to find a house under construction involved in fire. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used two hose reels to extinguish the fire. Firefighters also isolated a cylinder which was also involved in fire.

Crews returned to their station by 5.30pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
