Car fire – Longthorpe - Peterborough

At 9.54am on Friday (31) a crew from Dogsthorpe was called to a fire on the Nene Parkway in Longthorpe, Peterborough. 

Firefighters arrived to find a car on fire on the southbound carriageway. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 11.30am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
