Car fire – Hempsted - Peterborough

At 1.35pm on Saturday (2) crews from Stanground were called to a fire on Drake Avenue in Hempsted, Peterborough.

Firefighters arrived to find a car on fire in a car park. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their station by 3.10pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
