Fire in the open – Tydd St Giles

At 6am on Monday (5) a crew from Wisbech was called to a fire on Newgate Road in Tydd St Giles. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a garden spreading to conifer trees. They extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their station by 7.10am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
