Flat fire – Huntingdon - Huntingdonshire

At 9.05pm on Tuesday (6) crews from Huntingdon and Papworth were called to a fire on High Street in Huntingdon. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the bedroom of a flat above a take-away premises. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 10.20pm. 

The building was evacuated when crews arrived. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
