Lorry fire - Hartford - Huntingdonshire

On Tuesday (25) at 2.45pm, two crews from Huntingdon were called to a lorry fire on the A141 at Hartford.

Crews arrived to find a lorry containing shredded paper on fire in the forecourt of a garage.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets and small gear to extinguish the fire. Crews returned to their station shortly after 4pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
