Car fire - Farcet - Huntingdonshire

On Thursday (27) at 7.37am, one crew from Stanground and one crew from Yaxley were called to a car fire on Spring Drive, Farcet.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire. One casualty was treated for smoke inhalation and left in the care of the ambulance service.

The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.

Crews returned to their station by 8.20am.
