Car fire – A428 - South Cambs

At 2.15am on Saturday (26) crews from Cambridge and St Neots were called to a fire on the A428.  

Firefighters arrived to find a car on fire on the westbound carriageway near Cambourne. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 4.15am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
