Fire in the open – Holme - Huntingdonshire

At 7.51am on Sunday (27) a crew from Stanground was called to a fire at Holme Fen Nature Reserve. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a wooded area involving peat and extinguished it using a hose reel. They returned to their station by 11.10am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
