House fire – Thorney - Peterborough

At 3.46pm on Thursday (1) a crew from Stanground was called to a fire on Gas Lane in Thorney. 

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving a van that had spread to a house. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their station by 6.30pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
