Van fire – Dimmocks Cote - East Cambs

At 11.01am on Wednesday (21) a crew from Ely was called to a fire on the A1123 near Dimmocks Cote.

Firefighters arrived to find a van on fire. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels. A female casualty was given oxygen therapy at the scene.

The crews returned to their station by 12.05pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
