Fire in the open – Covington - Huntingdonshire

At 9.50pm on Saturday (24) crews were called to a fire on Church Lane in Covington. 

Crews from Yaxley and St Neots, along with crews from Irthlingborough in Northamptonshire and Kempston in Bedfordshire, attended the incident.  

Firefighters arrived to find two fires involving rubbish, machinery and bales of hay. They extinguished them using hose reels and jets and returned to their stations by 2.10am.
