Lorry fire – A14 - South Cambs

At 10.24am on Monday (20) crews from Cambridge and Cottenham, along with a water carrier from Ramsey, were called to a fire on the A14.  

Firefighters arrived to find a lorry well alight on an eastbound slip road near Bar Hill. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 1.25pm.  

The cause of the fire was accidental.
