Fire in the open – Cottenham - South Cambs

At 6.53am on Tuesday (21) a crew from Cambridge was called to a fire on Rampton Road in Cottenham.  

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a garden spreading to trees and a neighbouring shed. They extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 9am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
