Car fire – Fletton - Peterborough

At 6.06am on Sunday (26) crews from Stanground and Dogsthorpe were called to a fire on the Fletton parkway in Peterborough. 

Firefighters arrived to find a car well alight on an eastbound slip road. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 7.10am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
