Lorry fire - Market ward - Cambridge

On Monday (8) crews were called to a lorry fire at 5.40am on Lensfield Road.

Crews arrived to find a lorry containing fruit and veg well alight.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire was accidental.

Both crews returned to their stations by 7am.
