Flat fire - Abbey ward - Cambridge

On Friday (26) at 12.54am, two crews from Cambridge were called to a flat fire on Fison Road, Abbey ward.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, before using a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.

The cause of the fire was accidental.

Crews returned to their station by 1.40am.
