Fire in the open – Waterbeach - South Cambs

At 5.44pm on Thursday (17) crews from Cambridge were called to a fire on Clayhithe Road in Waterbeach.  

Firefighters arrived to find a large felled tree well alight. They extinguished the fire using a jet and returned to their station by 7.15pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
