Lorry fire – A14 - Huntingdonshire

At 5.56am on Thursday (17) crews from Huntingdon and Sawtry were called to a fire on the A14.  

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving a lorry trailer containing waste plastics one fire at Brampton Hit Services. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 10am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
