House fire – Buckden - Huntingdonshire

At 9.17pm on Sunday (27) crews from Huntingdon and St Neots were called to a fire on Mill Road in Buckden.  

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a first floor bedroom of a house. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan. They returned to their stations by 12.30am. 

The property was evacuated before the crews arrived.  

The cause of the fire was accidental.
