Building fire - Warboys - Huntingdonshire

On Tuesday (12) at 8.45am, a crew from Huntingdon was called to a fire at a building unit on Warboys airfield.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving a go-kart battery. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel and a CO2 extinguisher to put the fire out, before using a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
