Road traffic collision – A142 - East Cambs

At 9.42am on Tuesday (12) a crew from Ely, along with a crew from Wickhambrook in Suffolk, were called to a road traffic collision on the A142 near Barway. 

Firefighters arrived to find a collision involving three vehicles, with six casualties involved. One person was trapped. Firefighters used specialist equipment to release the casualty from their vehicle, before leaving them in the care of the ambulance service. 

Crews returned to their stations by 11.15am.
