Car fire – Foxton - South Cambs

At 5.47pm on Saturday (7) a crew from Cambridge, along with a crew from Royston in Hertfordshire, was called to a fire on the A10 near Foxton. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving a car near a disused garage by a level crossing. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 7.45pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
