Car fire - Stanground - Peterborough

On Wednesday (11) at 1.36pm, one crew from Stanground was called to a car fire on Apollo Avenue, Stanground. Crews arrived to find a van well alight following a road traffic collision. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, before returning to their station by 2.30pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
