Lorry fire – North Bretton - Peterborough

At 6.30am on Monday (23) crews from Stanground and Yaxley were called to a fire on Sturrock Way in North Bretton, Peterborough. 

Firefighters arrived to find a small fire in a refuse lorry and extinguished it using a hose reel. They returned to their stations by 7.30am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
