Van fire – Alconbury - Huntingdonshire

At 6.25pm on Tuesday (21) crews from Sawtry and Huntingdon were called to a fire on the B1090 near Alconbury. 

Firefighters arrived to find a van well alight. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 9pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
